The short answer is no. No refrigeration necessary.

DS-01® Daily Synbiotic is shelf stable when stored at room temperature or ambient temperatures of up to 79 °F (or 26 °C). We recommend storing it in the glass jar from your Welcome Kit, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. 

Though many probiotics are sold in refrigerated sections, refrigeration doesn’t necessarily indicate “freshness” or superiority. In fact, if a probiotic does not survive at ambient temperature outside of the refrigerator, it may indicate the product isn't very stable, doesn’t contain enough live organisms, or isn’t formulated to maintain its potency over time.

If your home is warmer than 79 °F, we do suggest refrigeration. The best way to do this is to place DS-01® in a well-sealed container (with the desiccant pack included with your most recent order) to minimize exposure to moisture.
