The probiotic strains in PDS-08® have been studied in various pediatric populations to support benefits for gut barrier integrity, gut-immune function, dermatological health, and respiratory health. The dosages in our product reflect the exact dose used in their respective clinical trials. Additionally, the composition was shown to significantly enrich Bifidobacterium in the pediatric gut microbiome (as demonstrated via metagenomic shotgun sequencing) and support the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in vitro through the Simulator of the Human Intestinal Microbial Ecosystem (SHIME®).
