We know how hard it is to find evidence-based information so we can make the best choices—especially for parents. Between flavored powders and brightly colored gummies, choosing a pediatric probiotic is a challenge.

So we developed PDS-08® Pediatric Daily Synbiotic with science and simplicity in mind. PDS-08® is a clinically studied 2-in-1 powdered probiotic and prebiotic with 9 probiotic strains and a dual-phase, mixed-chain-length, fiber-based prebiotic comprised of of inulin and fructooligosaccharides (FOS). The formulation offers 5g of prebiotic fiber in each serving, which helps parents incorporate this important nutrient into their child’s diet. PDS-08® is sugar-free and easy to take on the go—no refrigeration required.

PDS-08® is the first 9-strain synbiotic studied in a double-blind, randomized, controlled trial in a pediatric cohort shown to support gastrointestinal function and a healthy frequency of weekly bowel movements. It is also the first multi-strain synbiotic to include two pioneering strains clinically validated in children to support respiratory health and a healthy response to seasonal airborne particles. 

The probiotic strains in PDS-08® have been studied in 18 clinical trials specifically conducted in various pediatric cohorts and the dosages in our product reflect the exact dose used in their respective clinical trials. This means that these strains have demonstrated a health benefit at an "effective dosage" in the same dose included in our PDS-08® formulation.

Lastly, PDS-08® undergoes extensive testing (well beyond what’s required) throughout each step of the manufacturing process as well as on the final product. This includes testing for potency, survivability, contaminants (pesticides, mycotoxins, and heavy metals), and over 20 allergens defined by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
