Why is PDS-08® a powdered synbiotic?Updated 2 months ago

PDS-08® was formulated in a powdered format for several reasons, including ease of use in a pediatric population (children cannot easily swallow capsules) and the ability to incorporate a clinically meaningful dose of prebiotic fiber. Our powdered format also allows for the use of heat-sensitive probiotic strains (which would otherwise be damaged in the manufacturing of formats like gummy-based probiotics).
